Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Line the crayons you picked out all the way across the canvas like a rainbow. The tips of the crayons should face downward and the ends should touch the top of your canvas.

    Tip: Use math to decide how many of each color crayon to use! If your canvas is 16 inches wide, and each crayon is 1/4 inch wide, you will need 64 crayons total! If you want a total of 10 groups of colors, you will need to use about 6 crayons per color and you will have 4 spare crayons!

    16 inches ÷ 0.25 inches = 64 total crayons!

    64 crayons ÷ 10 colors = 6.4 crayons per color!
